We Care You Care – STIGA 90

The STIGA 90 We Care You Care promotional campaign organized by STIGA Ltd., having its registered office at Unit 8, Bluewater Estate, Bell Close, Plympton, Plymouth, PL7 (hereinafter, the “Promoter”).

These terms and conditions are deemed to be fully accepted by the Community group as defined below, upon submission of the relevant application:

DEFINITIONS

  • Contract means this Terms and Conditions and the annexes thereto.
  • Parties means the Promoter, STIGA Ltd, together with each Community group.
  • Community group means a recognised group/charity 
  • Community lead means a natural person who:
    • Is at least 18 years old
    • Nominated spokesperson for the group
    • Resides within the territory of United Kingdom
  • Promotion means the STIGA 90 We Care Your Care garden tool giveaway 
  • Promotion Period  means the period between 01st March 2024 and 31st December 2024 (included)

CONDITIONS OF THE PROMOTION

  1. The Community group must be a recognised group or charity with affiliation to a garden or allotment space located within the UK
  2. Examples of a recognised community group are:  Community gardens, Hospital gardens, School garden, Respite gardens, Gardening in the community, Grass roots sports clubs and community or gueriila gardeners.
  3. The promoter reserves the right to use images and assets of the group subject to GDPR for PR and marketing purposes.
  4. The STIGA judging panel will assess each application along with the social media engagement tokens and notify the Community lead directly if successful.
  5. It is hereby understood that the Community group would not be entitled to exchange or sell the donated products within a 12-month period 

APPLICATION

  1. The Community lead must register the groups interest through the website www.wecare.stigauk.com where they will complete the online registration form including a brief paragraph explaining why their group should be considered for FREE STIGA garden tools and machinery.
  2. Once the registration form has been submitted use the download link sent by email to the community lead to access a community engagement pack
  3. Follow the We Care You Care Instagram @we_care_that_you_care and facebook page @we_care_that_you_care
  4. Community lead to create a social media post sharing within the community group as per the instructions in the engagement pack

SUCCESSFUL APPLICATION

  1. The STIGA judging panel will assess each application along with the social media engagement tokens and notify the Community lead directly if successful.
  2. If successful, the donation of the gardening products will be arranged by a local STIGA authorised dealer at a time and date convenient to both parties.
  3. It is hereby understood that the Community group would not be entitled to exchange or sell the donated products within a 12-month period unless disbandment of the Community group.

LIABILITY

  1. The Promoter assumes no liability for the fact that the registration page and any links are available and are technically error-free and completely retrievable by the Community group. In particular, no liability is assumed within the legal limits for damages and losses or deletions of data resulting from technical malfunctions or delays, viruses or similar reasons.
  2. All products donated to the Community group will carry a 5-Year warranty subject to Terms and Conditions provided under https://www.stiga.com/uk/warranty-and-after-sales-support
  3. The Community group is responsible for servicing costs this is not included within the promotion. If products are not serviced as per the warranty Terms and Conditions the warranty will be limited to 2-Years for each product.

EARLY TERMINATION OF THE PROMOTION

  1. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or interrupt the Promotion at any time without prior notice. This applies in particular if, for technical reasons (e.g. viruses in the computer system, manipulation or errors in the hardware and/or software) or for legal reasons, a proper execution of the action cannot be guaranteed, in particular in the event of force majeure. Rights already acquired by Community group at the date of termination, shall remain fully valid and effective.
  2. Claims for performance and damages of the Consumer group in the event of early termination of the Promotion in accordance with this section are expressly excluded.
  3. The Promoter reserves the right to update and amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any change or update will become effective from the moment of its publication on the Site. It remains understood that the updated Terms and Conditions apply solely to new applications.

PRIVACY

  1. Personal data, i.e. name, address, e-mail address, will be processed pursuant to the GDPR or the applicable laws as well as pursuant to the terms and conditions provided under https://www.stiga.com/uk/privacy-policy 

MISCELLANEA

  1. By completing the online registration this will constitute acceptance of the Terms and Conditions between the Community group and the Promoter regarding the Promotion.
  2. Changes to the conditions of participation will be made in text form. This also applies to the cancellation of this formal requirement itself.
  3. The Parties expressly agree that rights and obligations under this Contract will be governed by the laws of the country in which the Customer is resident.
